The four images displayed on this
page are representative of a typical motion path display.
These are frames from a real time replay program,
animating a lap of Winton Racetrack. The motion path was
generated using our ANALYSE program
and a custom replay program then written to display the
results.
Depending on the computer power and graphics hardware
being used, this replay can run at anything up to 50
frames per second, with each frame calculated "on
the fly". Basic vehicle data is displayed on the
computer screen as the animation runs. The viewpoint can
be moved interactively, so the motion path can be viewed
from anywhere while the animation is running. |
